Back to the Future…

When look at old railways, Back to the Future – Part 3 will just pop up in my mind every single time. But no, this is not that… Ladner Creek Trestle is a small section of the historic Kettle Valley Railway back in the 40’s. The trail is about 2KM out and back, it only takes you about 30 minutes to finish. However, there are few very steep sections at the beginning and and the very end of the trail (right before you can see the rail). You’ll fine few wires wrapped around few trees at the section toward to the end, they are useful when you hike down as the dirt is super loose. I wouldn’t recommend this trail to children due to the conditional of the trail. Some sections got pretty washed out and I had found it difficult to finish the last 100 meter or so. But you’ll be fine when you use it with caution.
